Asphalt Crew Member

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position supports asphalt paving operations including placement, compaction, and finishing. Asphalt Crew Members work as part of a paving team to produce smooth, durable asphalt surfaces.

Responsibilities:

Assist with asphalt placement, raking, and finishing.
Operate hand tools and assist with compaction equipment.
Work alongside paving equipment operators and foremen.
Maintain consistent paving quality and joint alignment.
Follow safety procedures related to hot materials and heavy equipment.

Skills & Experience Developed:

Asphalt paving techniques and workflows.
Use of paving and compaction equipment.
Understanding of paving tolerances and surface quality.
Team coordination during paving operations.

Qualifications:

Asphalt or paving experience preferred.
Ability to work around hot materials and equipment.
Physical ability to perform repetitive and labor-intensive tasks.
Strong teamwork and safety awareness.
