“I didn’t want to be a number, and I don’t want my guys to be numbers. Alpine has given me the opportunity to be what I want to be.” — Bob Baker Logistics Superintendent, Alpine Civil Construction
Who we are

A culture that happens to build infrastructure.

At Alpine, you get trust, a crew that backs you up, and work you can take pride in.

No corporate B.S.

We treat you like the professional you are.

We don’t make experienced people jump through pointless hoops: no self-scored form, no corporate SOP binder for the work you know how to do. If you know the work, we’re not going to treat you like you don’t. We put you on a crew of people who hold the same standard, then we stay out of your way and let the work speak.

“We don’t just work together. We do life together.”
— Tracy Hansen, Finance Director,
Alpine Civil Construction
No drama. Built on trust.

There’s no yelling here.

“Our culture, how people treat people. That’s a big deal for me.”
— Matt Varholdt, CEO, Alpine Civil Construction

A lot of people come to us from sites where somebody was always screaming: the superintendent throwing his hard hat, the trades blaming each other for whatever went wrong. That doesn’t happen here. Nobody’s setting you up to fail, and nobody’s covering their own back. You can say “this won’t work” and someone listens — because crews that have worked together for years know how to look out for each other.

Real ownership.

Run by the people who do the work.

We treat the people here like owners — and not as a figure of speech. You run your own scope, make the calls on site, and stand behind the result. It’s the kind of work you can point to years later and say, “I built that.”

“We have the best equipment, the best tech. We pay people well. So people want to come work here.”
— Dominic Herrera, Chief Operations Officer, Alpine Civil Construction
