Heavy Equipment Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position operates and assists with the maintenance of heavy construction equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and graders. Operators also utilize Topcon technology systems, including GPS and machine control, to improve grading accuracy and site efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
Support site preparation, excavation, trenching, and grading activities.
Utilize Topcon GPS and 3D machine control systems.
Coordinate with site supervisors and surveyors to meet project goals.
Maintain accurate daily equipment and production logs.

Skills & Experience Developed:

Hands-on operation of heavy construction equipment.
Understanding of site work processes and equipment applications.
Use of Topcon GPS and machine control technology.
Safety awareness, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

Training or experience in construction, heavy equipment operation, or related field.
CDL required.
Interest in construction technology and modern machine control systems.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Commitment to safe and efficient equipment operation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Agtek and Topcon software proficiency.
